How the Forum Supports an Informed Vote

The District of Peachland will hold a by-election on March 14, 2026 to fill the vacant council seat left by Keith Thom.  In advance of the vote, the Peachland Chamber of Commerce will host an All-Candidates Forum on March 3, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Peachland Community Centre, giving residents an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and their priorities for Peachland.

Your Chance to Hear from the Candidates

The District of Peachland has asked the Peachland Chamber of Commerce to host the All-Candidates Forum as a neutral, community-focused event to support informed voting. The forum will provide candidates with an opportunity to share their perspectives on key issues facing Peachland, and allow residents to better understand their positions and leadership priorities.

Members of the public are invited to submit questions in advance using the form below. Submitted questions will be considered for inclusion in the forum to help ensure a balanced and relevant discussion.

The Peachland Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in supporting both local business and the wider community, and is often called upon to assist with significant civic events such as this. Through advocacy, networking, and promotional platforms, the Chamber helps foster engagement and visibility for businesses while contributing to a strong and informed community.

January 7 Nomination packages available for pickup from Municipal Hall

January 27 Nomination Period begins at 9:00 AM

February 6 Nomination Period ends at 4:00 PM 

February 14 Campaign Period begins

February 16 Declaration of Election by Voting or Acclamation

March 14 General Voting Day (If Required)
