Regional District of Central Okanagan

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is the regional local government body that plans, coordinates, and delivers services that benefit multiple communities throughout the Central Okanagan. Services include regional parks, solid waste management and recycling, water and wastewater systems, emergency planning, building inspection, and regulatory programs that support community well-being and sustainable growth. RDCO also facilitates long-term regional planning, land use regulation, and collaborative initiatives among member municipalities and electoral areas. Through governance by an elected Board of Directors and professional staff, RDCO strives to balance local priorities across a diverse and growing region.
